It's Tuesday, September 21, 2010. I have finished two wheel projects, one is my tall form which is a tall skinny mug with a handle, the other is just a miscellaneous project which is also a coffee mug. Both projects are decent looking and consistent in quality, which is good, especially for my first projects of the year.  I made sure to focus on the thickness of my projects, especially at the base and to keep my projects as centered as possible.  Now all I have left to do is wait for my projects to come out of the kiln so I can glaze them. Once they come out of the kiln I plan on taking pictures of them and uploading them on my next blog which should be later in the week. Once they're glazed I'll upload pictures of the completed projects to my art gallery.  Check back later this week or early next week for updates! :)

This is my very first ceramics blog post! Since the begining of the school year, which was about two weeks ago, i have created two main pieces; a small coffee mug and giant coffee mug. They are actually really simple to make, you just throw a cylinder on the pottery wheel and then you pull a handle and attach it to your piece. So not only are they easy to make but they are also cool looking and useful out of the classroom, especially for those who love coffee!  I havent added any pictures of my projects yet because I havent had time to take pictures of everything in class so if you look back within the next few days you should be able to find pictures of my pieces Iv'e made this year.  Check back in with m
